This May, as the city celebrates mothers and all that they do, Bastian Garden City brings together a thoughtfully curated series of hands-on experiences centered around creativity, connection, and time spent together. At the heart of this offering is the Floral Styling Workshop on 10th May (4:00 PM – 5:00 PM)—an experience that feels almost poetic in its intent. Much like a mother’s touch, gentle yet intentional, this guided 1-hour session invites participants to work with fresh blooms, discovering the delicate balance of colour, texture, and form. With all materials thoughtfully provided and a complimentary beverage to accompany the moment, the workshop unfolds as a slow, intimate ritual-perfect for creating something beautiful, side by side.
Adding a layer of warmth and nostalgia is the DIY Cake Painting Workshop, scheduled for 9th and 10th May- a celebration of the sweetest memories we often associate with home. The experience includes a chocolate cake paired with buttercream icings, inviting guests to paint, design, and personalise their own creation. It’s playful, heartfelt, and deeply personal- echoing the joy of creating something with, and for, someone you love.
Both workshops are designed as intimate experiences, encouraging guests to truly connect- whether with their mothers, loved ones, or even themselves. The DIY Cake Painting workshop, however, is open to all and not limited by seating, making it a more accessible, free-flowing experience for guests to drop in and enjoy.
