Rohit Shetty’s ‘Sooryavanshi’ is the fourth movie from the cop universe, after ‘Singham’ and ‘Simmba’. With Akshay Kumar playing the titular role, Katrina Kaif will be seen as his leading lady. The latest action extravaganza also stars Javed Jaffrey, Kumud Mishra, Sikander Kher, Abhimanyu Singh and Nikitin Dheer.
The four minute long trailer reveals Sooryavanshi as the head of the anti-terrorist squad in Mumbai. Faced with the prospect of a terrorist attack by an Islamist group that is led by a character played by Jackie Shroff, Sooryavanshi gets alert. Needing help of Simmba and Singham in his mission, enters Ajay Devgn and Ranveer Singh who will play cameos in the movie.
From bomb blasts to Akshay Kumar hanging down a helicopter, the trailer of ‘Sooryavanshi’ is filled with interesting yet dangerous stunts. The background score only adds more drama to it. High on patriotism, the trailer also brings a touch of secularism by frequent mentions of brave Muslim officers.
Akshay Kumar promises an action packed cop drama with Ajay Devgn and Ranveer Singh adding masala to the entertainer. The ‘Khiladi’ is also back doing what he’s best at, throwing kicks and punches on the silver screen.
While the cast indulges in an exciting chase of the villain, one sees the signature Rohit Shetty action with cars flying that promises a larger-than-life cop saga.
