And thanks to Women like Rochelle Chhabra, who believed in stepping up and giving the long-running brand a way to understand its consumer better while providing a reliable hair care solution.
Rochelle Chhabra, with a keen interest in clinical health science, pursued pharmacy and further honed her knowledge in Trichology to understand the roots of our hair. Now proudly holding the designation of Head of Hygienic Research Institute, Streax Professional, Rochelle looks back upon her journey and quotes, “ I joined Streax soon after my graduation and kick-started my career at the age suitable for professional growth. Right from the beginning, I believed that quality is the core of a company’s image in this industry, and so my initial days in the company were focused on that aspect. I started by setting up the R&D and testing laboratory for the organisation. I set up quality control parameters for our existing products and new products being developed. I led the setting up of Streax Professional and continue to head the division, proudly witnessing it grow every day.”
And just like every woman out there, even her role is not limited to one aspect of life. Being a mother of two, Rochelle has nailed each of her responsibilities. Hailing and applauding the womanhood, she goes on to talk, “As a woman, managing a home, looking after the kids, and working was challenging in the initial days. However, as women are naturally well-adept to multitask, I got comfortable managing both my roles and started enjoying them too.” She also gives credit to her loving and supportive family and effective planning for pulling off the role perfectly.
An inspiring woman, Rochelle, on this special day that celebrates women, with her diverse role, is an empowering figure who encourages everyone to take up their roles bravely and believes, “Women are powerful, courageous and can create magic with anything they do. There is no limit to what we, as women, can accomplish. Therefore, women must realise their abilities, develop their potentials, and carve their niche in the field of their interest. As women, we should also inspire and support other women in their journeys”, giving us a piece to think about and making us push ourselves more into this world boldly.
