Rhythms of Black & White Opensto an Enthusiastic Audience at Nayan Naveli Gallery

New Delhi witnessed a memorable celebration of monochrome art as Nayan Naveli Gallery successfully inaugurated its group exhibition “Rhythms of Black & White” on 10 July 2026 at its gallery in Greater Kailash Enclave I. Curated by Amrita Kochhar, the exhibition brought together thirteen talented artists from diverse artistic backgrounds, presenting contemporary interpretations of black-and-white visual language.

Opening Evening

The opening evening was graced by distinguished chief guests Maïté Delteil, Anjolie Ela Menon, and Jatin Das, whose presence made the occasion especially meaningful for participating artists and art enthusiasts. The gallery welcomed an impressive gathering of collectors, artists, students, and visitors who came together to celebrate creativity beyond the boundaries of colour.

Interactive Experience

One of the highlights of the evening was an engaging two-minute live illustration activity. Visitors were first invited to spend one minute in complete silence with their eyes closed, allowing themselves to relax and reflect. During the second minute, they were encouraged to freely draw whatever emerged from their imagination, without rules or expectations. The interactive experience received an overwhelming response and became one of the most talked-about moments of the exhibition.

Featuring works by Ambrish Mishra, Chaya Dubey, Indeera ITTI Menon, Jiten Sahu, Kumari Nidhi, Rakhee Kumari, Roopali Dhawan, Sangeeta Jindal, Sanjay Tikkal, Sarika Poornanand, Snneha, Sonam Singh, and Keshri Nandan, the exhibition demonstrates how monochrome can express emotion, depth, memory, and movement with remarkable sensitivity.
