Global Superstar Priyanka Chopra is part of ‘Variety’s ‘Power of Women’ to celebrate frontline workers where she talks about how quarantine has been truly humbling for her and realizing her privileged position.
From starting out in Bollywood, moving towards Hollywood and becoming the global UNICEF Goodwill Ambassador, Priyanka Chopra is honoured by ‘Variety’ with the ‘Power of Women’ recognition for her philanthropic work.
On Instagram, the star announced that she’s part of ‘Variety’s’ frontline heroes special where they celebrate and honour women who are fighting against the global pandemic. Along with a note, Priyanka shared a BTS video from her ‘Power of Women’ shoot back from 2018.
In the video, Priyanka Chopra talks about how she doesn’t feel powerful all the time but won’t let anyone see it. She states that women show strength that makes them look unbreakable and can walk heads up with anyone. The actor adds that she is vulnerable and moody but feels the most confident when she walks into a set.
Apart from this, Priyanka talks about the power of feminism and how she feels it, by being emotionally in check and using her vulnerabilities as her strength. In conclusion, the actor tells that staying home with her family makes her feel privileged when people outdoors are dying of hunger.
