Directed by M.S. Sripathy and made primarily in Tamil, off-break spinner Muralitharan’s biopic, ‘800’ will be fast-paced and funny. The film will show his life journey, from childhood days and entry into the Sri Lankan Team to the attack on his team in Pakistan and innumerable controversies over his bowling style.

On the other hand, Malayalam actor Nivin Paul’s critically acclaimed movie, ‘Moothon’ is set for world digital premier on 16 October, releasing on Aha streaming platform. The action thriller film got praises at the Toronto International Film Festival and Sundance Film Festival.

Directed by Geetu Mohandas, ‘Moothon’ is an award-winning film with a powerful performance by Nitin Pauly alongside Shashank Arora, Sanjana Dipu, Roshan Mathew, Sobhita Dhilupala and Melissa Raju Thomas. The movie essays the journey of a younger sibling who goes in search of the elder one, with a gripping storyline about societal stereotypes and the hidden sins.
