The popular video game series ‘Mortal Kombat’ is all set to bring its story to the world.
Yes, the renowned video game has announced its motion picture and has even dropped the trailer which is capturing the essence of the game in the perfect way and bringing even more gory scenes.
The trailer of the R-rated film hints at the storyline that follows the life-journey of a young MMA fighter Cole Young. As the Outworld’s Emperor Shang Tsung sends his warriors to hunt Cole, the MMA fighter meets other world champions and prepares himself to fight against the enemies. The movie stars Lewis Tan, Jessica McNamee, Josh Lawson, Tadanobu Asano, Mehcad Brooks, Ludi Lin, Chin Han, Joe Taslim, and Hiroyuki Sanada in major roles.
Directed by Simon McQuoid, the film is based on a script written by Greg Russo and Dave Callaham and will hit the theatres on 16 April, 2021.
