Kamala Harris, a name that took the world by surprise and never lost media’s attention since August, is going to be the ‘Madam Vice President’, etching a name in the history of the United States.

Representing the Democratic party of America, Harris has added many firsts to her name. From being the first lady to acquire the official position of the Vice President, Kamala is also the first woman of colour and Indian origin, achieving the honourable designation.

The 56-year-old Vice President-elect after the result predictions have been showered with immense love and warm wishes from across the world and we have the compilation of best moments of her since Joe Biden becoming the 46 President- elect of the US has been announced.

1. “We Did It” Moment:

As soon the electoral votes crossed 270, the Biden-Harris team had their celebratory moment to take up the responsibility of America for the next four years. And one of the best moments was when Kamala Harris called up the President-elect Joe Biden to congratulate him by stating: “We did it, @JoeBiden.” and made the netizens go into a sudden rush of happiness.

 

2. For Every Girl Out There:

Sending out a message to all the women out in the world, Kamala Harris encouraged everyone to “Dream with ambition, Lead with Conviction” and gave a moment of hope and courage by stating: “While I may be the first woman in the office, I will not be the last”. Her golden words are still echoing all over the internet and showing a silver lining to every woman who is fighting for a change.

Dedicating her victory to all the women who have fought for their basic rights, for the suffrage and are constantly challenging the world for equality and liberty, Kamala Harris won the hearts of millions in her recent address to the nation. Calling out the women of colour as “backbone of our democracy”, the Vice President-elect in her speech also thanked her mother Shyamala Gopanlan Harris, who strongly believed in America.
