Jack Grealish, the midfielder and captain of Aston Villa has made his place in the England team ahead of UEFA Nations League matches that are scheduled to start from 3 September this year.

The decision was taken due to the withdrawal of Manchester United striker Marcus Rashford, because of ankle injury, and Tottenham midfielder Harry Winks from the National squad.

This would also be the first appearance of Jack in the senior team of England. The athlete has represented England at under-21 level and was a member of England manager Gareth Southgate’s Toulon Tournament winning squad of 2016.

England will be playing against Iceland in Reykjavik on the upcoming Saturday and next will clash with Denmark at Copenhagen.

Both Aston Villa and Jack Grealish shared the incredible career transforming news on their social media page where Jack proudly wrote, “A dream come true to receive my first senior call up for @England

#ThreeLions”.
