Description:
An engaging conversation between Srila Chatterjee and Swapan Seth will be the highlight of this year’s Affordable Art Show in Gurgaon.
This is an open to all, intimate conversation titled ‘How to Build an Art Collection You Love.’ It’ll take place on Friday, May 8th at 6:00 PM, at the Museo Camera in Gurgaon and will be a candid exploration of art through an unconventional lens.
Moving away from market-driven trends, Swapan and Srila will draw from their rich backgrounds in design and advertising to share personal anecdotes and practical insights. This session is designed to demystify the collecting process, offering guidance on discovering new artists, trusting your instincts, and fostering a deeply personal connection with the pieces you bring into your home.
Beyond this special talk, the Affordable Art Show itself runs from May 7th to 10th. This curated exhibition features a diverse range of regional traditions—from Pichwai and Pattachitra to contemporary canvases—with prices starting at ₹3,000. It is a rare opportunity to encounter works by masters like Jogen Chowdhury alongside compelling new voices.
Seatings for the conversation on May 8th is limited.
