Directed by Jeethu Joseph, this Malayalam crime mystery film stars Mohanlal along with Meena, Murali Gopy, Asha Sharath and Siddique. Coming back with a murder mystery, ‘Drishyam 2’ promises entertainment with a gripping storyline and plenty of unexpected twists.
Building suspense for the viewers with solid punches, ‘Drishyam 2’ shows how the life of Georgekutty has changed from a cable TV operator to a theatre owner and now a film producer in making. Having a good time with family. Meanwhile, the police once again start a secret investigation on the mysterious disappearance of Varun Prabhakar, the character from the first part whose blame was pinned on Georgekutty.
When a major breakthrough takes place in the case, Georgekutty and his family are once again suspects in the case and the investigation goes fast track. This time, is the hero guilty or will he go to any bounds to protect his family, forms the crux of the story.
