Daft Punk, the French electronic music duo going strong since 1993 have separated their ways.
The Grammy Award winners Guy-Manuel de Homem-Christo and Thomas Bangalter announced their separation after 28 long years through a YouTube video named ‘Epilogue’ that shows the two helmet clad men walking in a desolated area and eventually going far from each other. As one of the members explodes into black ashes, the other one walks towards the setting sun. In the video their timeline also appears on the screen that reads: “1993-2021”.

Known for their unique music as well as video content, Daft Punk have received six Grammy Awards and have delivered several international numbers to the world. The duo has also collaborated with other great names of the musical world including Pharrell Williams in their ‘Get Lucky’ song.
