Coming to mixed doubles, Satwik and Ashwini claimed a 21-11, 27-29, 21-16 win over the Indonesian pair of Hafiz Faizal and Gloria Widjaja. In men’s doubles, Chirag Shetty and Satwiksairaj Rankireddy fought back to beat their South Korean opponents, Kim Gi Jung and Lee Yong Dae, 19-21, 21-16, 21-14.
