With this eco-friendly product, the brand brings it’s top-of-the-line high-performance and environment-friendly carpet tile cushion backing to the Indian consumer. This next generation of carpet tile backing has been manufactured keeping in mind the need to reduce the plastic stress on the environment and has put to use millions of discarded water bottles. The brand is driven by the mission to recycle 1 billion bottles by the year 2025.
EcoSoft is the next wave of carpet tile backing, made up of 80% post-consumer recycled PET and 5% post-industrial recycled PET re-engineered from millions of reused drinking water bottles. This eco-friendly product not only meets the rigorous performance requirements expected from a carpet tile, but even outperforms the traditional PVC and bitumen hardbacks, as well as urethane cushion backs. In terms of longevity, walking comfort, acoustic inclination, and indoor air quality, Carpets Inter comes as a blessing in disguise with the specialised carpet tile backing. The brand has achieved zero waste in the production of these carpets by diverting its manufacturing off-cut waste to be used as RDF with a Thai Power Plant.

1.Lightweight
Carpets Inter has created a recycled PET carpet tile backing. It’s one of the lightest carpet tile backing present in the market with reduced Carbon Footprint by entrapping over 40% Carbon into the PET backing itself.
2.Recyclable Material
About 50 single-use 550ml water bottles are recycled to manufacture one square metre of EcoSoft® back carpet tile by our patented EcoSoft® PET Felt cushion back.
3.Thermal Insulation
If there is a temperature difference between the indoor air and the air under the surface, EcoSofts high Thermal insulation property will reduce energy cost for heating and cooling.
4.Wet Slabs
Ecosoft is a breathable cushion backing for Carpets Inter carpet tiles which allows moisture to release from the wet concrete slab. The product does not entrap moisture and may be installed on a substrate above 95% RH thus saving the expense of an additional moisture barrier.
