The former Indian cricketer and commentator Ravi Shastri’s journey in the cricket field is a memorable one. Being a part of the 1983 World Cup-winning Indian squad, the man also is a controversial name in the Indian cricket history and has been an active member of BCCI and ICC since his retirement from cricket.
Today on his birthday, BCCI shared a special post for the man, sharing his picture from the stadium in a cricket hat.
Apart from BCCI, International Cricket Council, also wished Shastri giving the deets of the number of matches played by the all-rounder. In a career span of over 10 years, Shastri had played 150 ODIs and 80 test matches with a total score of 6938 runs. His ‘Chapati Shot’ is still remembered by all the cricket fans.
