Playing as a midfielder for the club, Rinaldi was part of the youth setup with Atalanta but had been spending this season on loan at Serie D side Legnano from the Nerazzurri. He was a youth academy player at the club and was called as a warrior, the footballer who fought for his life but lost the battle against aneurysm.

Loved by everyone at Atalanta, Andrea Rinaldi joined the club at a young age of 13. With a bright future and promising career ahead in the sport, he bid farewell to the world very soon. Just like how he fought till the last on the field, Rinaldi fought till his last breath but fell prey to the illness.

May he rest in peace.
