Adrian Campos, the former Spanish Formula One driver has passed away at the age of 60 due to coronary disease. On this sad day, Fernando Alonso who won the World Championship in between 2005 and 2006, paid a special tribute to Adrian.
The Renault driver, Fernando took to his official Twitter handle to share a post with Campos and called his demise as the “saddest day for the motoring family”.

Campos made his debut in Formula One on 12 April 1987 with team Minardi and after his retirement moved to the management side of F1 racing. He was known to believe and train young talent and acted like a mentor to Fernando Alonso in his early years of racing.
His sudden demise has left a void in the Formula One family and the social media page of the F1 has shared a small video focusing on the contribution of Campos to the motosporting community.
