Taken from the upcoming Bait “inspired by” album, which also features British rappers including AJ Tracey and Raf Saperra, grime MC Casisdead, South Asian stars Natasha Noorani, Anik Khan, KR$NA and more.
‘Bait’, the highly anticipated comedy series, is now available exclusively on Prime Video.
April 2026 – Joining a glittering lineup that includes global popstars Jorja Smith and Jay Sean is Talwiinder, who has released ‘Blues’ – another track from the Bait “inspired by” soundtrack and the third single from the upcoming album scheduled to release on April 16.
Singing in Punjabi, ‘Blues’ is hypnotic and allows Talwiinder’s voice to overlay the complexly layered percussion almost as an additional rhythmic instrument. The lyrics speak of self-belief and seeing hard work come to fruition.
A singer, songwriter and producer, Talwiinder is a major force in the global music scene with nearly 2 billion streams and 12 million monthly listeners on Spotify. His experimental production and vocal style have earned him fans worldwide.
The soundtrack album features a stellar lineup including rising DJ and producer Anish Kumar; Grammy-winning composer, singer and producer Arooj Aftab; Jungle and DnB legend MC Shabba D; iconic electronic duo Origin Unknown; BRIT and MOBO award-winning producer Amir Amor; vocalist Véyah; multi-platinum artist Jay Sean; and global star Jorja Smith.
Bait is a six-part, genre-bending series that follows Shah Latif, an out-of-work British South Asian actor whose life spirals when he lands the final audition to play the next James Bond. What begins as an opportunity turns into a chaotic four-day journey where family, fame, identity and online scrutiny collide.
Blending psychological thriller elements with sharp comedy and family drama, the series explores themes of belonging, ambition and self-perception in contemporary London.
Music plays a central role in shaping the atmosphere of Bait. The soundtrack draws from diverse influences, from cinematic orchestration and 1970s South Asian film music to contemporary UK and South Asian artists. It bridges genres and cultures to reflect the show’s global identity.
The official soundtrack precedes the extended album, releasing on April 16, alongside the music video for ‘Price Of It All’.
The album features global artists including Raf Saperra, KR$NA, The Twins, ENNY, Casisdead, AJ Tracey, Natasha Noorani, Talwiinder, Riz Ahmed and more.
‘Blues’ follows Jay Sean’s “Pulling Me Back” ft. Véyah and Jorja Smith’s ‘Price Of It All’, released in March.
