Gheesutra beauty rituals featured in the wedding hampers of Rashmika Mandanna and Vijay Deverakonda
Bangalore, 19 March, 2026: The wedding celebrations of Rashmika Mandanna and Vijay Deverakonda captured wide attention on social media for the deeply rooted Vedic traditions. Among the thoughtful details were the guest hampers, which included beauty rituals from Ayurvedic skincare brand Shankara Naturals India. A meaningful gesture that allowed guests to take home a small touch of Ayurvedic care from the celebrations.
The hampers consisted of deeply rooted Ayurveda formulations and sustainable skincare signature products by Shankara India – Gheesutra Hand & Foot Cream and Deep Cleanse Facial Ubtan.

The Gheesutra Hand & Foot Cream is crafted using Shata Dhauta Ghrita, an ancient Ayurvedic preparation in which pure cow’s ghee is washed one hundred times in a copper vessel with water. Through this process of Shata Dhauta Ghrita[S2] , the ghee is transformed into a light, silky emulsion known for its deep nourishing and soothing properties for the skin. The sacred Ghrita that purifies the Agni in the Havan became a ritual of care in the hamper.
The Deep Cleanse Facial Ubtan has been part of traditional Ayurvedic Snana rituals, which have long been associated with cleansing and preparation before auspicious ceremonies. Made with a blend of carefully selected Ayurvedic herbs, the formulation gently purifies the skin and promotes a natural glow.
