The Confederation of Women Entrepreneurs of India (COWE) organized a special Felicitation Ceremony celebrating the accomplishments of exceptional women entrepreneurs who have made significant contributions to their communities and industries. The ceremony was held on 14th March 2026 at Lok Bhavan, Governor’s House, Dehradun, Uttarakhand, in the gracious presence of Sh. Lt. Gen. Gurmit Singh, Hon’ble Governor of Uttarakhand.
In alignment with International Women’s Day, women entrepreneurs from various sectors were honoured for their outstanding contributions. Among the awardees were Boxer Mary Kom, Sufi Singer Sufi Singer Minu Bakshi, India First Dastango Fouzia Dastango, Educator Rouble Nagi, Makeup Artist Guneet Virdi, Spiritual Singer Aarti Khetrapal, Actress Aarushi Nishank, Singer Nupur Pant, CRO of Ahujasons Anju Ahuja, Director of Shakkr Pooja Gogia, Founder of Lenskart Foundation Nidhi Bansal, Chef & Co-Founder of Himalayan Rasoiya Yojana Khanduri, Lawyer Sana Raees Khan, Entrepreneur Upasana Bora, Singer & Lyricist Mansa Pandey, Founder of Madihah Homes Shikha Bhasin, to name a few, who were recognised for their remarkable achievements in shaping industries and empowering communities.
On the occasion, Ms Meetu Puri, National Treasurer of COWE India, addressed the attendees with heartfelt words, stating, “Women entrepreneurs are powerful catalysts for change.” Through determination, innovation, and leadership, they are transforming industries and uplifting communities.
