Liverpool FC wins over Wolves FC, 1-0 in the Premier League clash!
During the game, Wolves goalkeeper Rui Patricio suffered a serious head injury and now is on the road to recovery. It was a distressing scene for the fans, the Portuguese players motionless on the pitch after an accidental collision that saw Wolves captain and center back, Conor Coady’s knee collide with his head. A seven minute lengthy stoppage took place where the medical staff administered oxygen and placed Rui Patricio on the stretcher as a part of a concussion substitution.
Coming to the game, Liverpool’s forward Diogo Jota scored a goal for his club during the first half’s extra time of two minutes. Mohammed Salah’s speed and dribbling was the key for the one game changing goal.
Heading to the top 16 round’s second leg, Liverpool went against Arsenal and Wolves FC to face West Ham.
Three points but tonight our thoughts are with Rui Patricio ❤️
