The evergreen romantic Bollywood movie, ‘Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge’ (DDLJ) is completing 25 years of its release on 20 October. On its silver anniversary, a bronze statue of Shah Rukh Khan and Kajol is set to be installed at Leicester Square in London but will be unveiled during the spring of 2021. One-of-a-kind achievement!

Creating history again, the bronze statue of DDLJ will be a part of Scenes in the Square movie trail that also includes installations of Harry Potter, Mary Poppins, Mr. Bean, Batman and Wonder Woman. The man behind these life-size statues is Andrzej Szymczyk. Making the announcement of this news on Twitter, DDLJ is also the first Hindi movie to have its statue erected in the UK. No other movie like DDLJ!
