In the ongoing test cricket match between England and Pakistan, James Anderson’s name popped up and trended all over the social media, on Tuesday night.
The English right arm pace bowler, while dismissing Azhar Ali to become only the fourth bowler to reach 600 Test wickets after Sri Lanka’s Muttiah Muralitharan, Australian Shane Warne and India’s Anil Kumble.
In his 156 match, Anderson also became the first seam bowler to achieve the 600 wicket feat and was applauded for his great work flooded in from all across the globe.
The International Cricket Council (ICC) celebrated the man’s victory by sharing his photo from the pitch and wrote, “James Anderson is the first fast bowler in history to take 600 Test wickets”.

Indian Skipper Virat Kohli also sent his greeting on the achievements of James Anderson through his official social media account by writing, “Congratulations @jimmy9 for this outstanding achievement of 600 wickets. Definitely one of the best bowlers I’ve faced.”

Apart from Kohli, Pakistan’s pace bowler Shoaib Akhtar also praised the man of the hour for his great feat.
