England women’s cricket team is set to return to training from 22 June to get into competitive mode before the end of the season.
The players will train in a bio-secure environment, first individual training across six venues and then, moving towards small groups training. The England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB) has announced 24 selected players for training as plans continue for a proposed tri-series with India and South Africa in September.
Thanking the counties to use their stadiums for practice, the England Women’s team is a step closer towards returning to the field. Hopeful of the women’s tri-series involving India and South Africa, ICC tweeted about England women’s return to training:
England have named 24 players who will resume training next week as they target a return to action in September.
