Huawei’s much-awaited, P40 series is all set to launch today!
It will drop three new smartphones in the series, Huawei P40, P40 Pro and the P40 Pro Premium.
To begin with, the Huawei P40 will have a 6.1 inch display with a wide punch-hole. It will feature an ultra-vision triple camera setup that includes a 50 megapixel primary camera, 16 megapixel lens and an eight megapixel lens. Known for visionary photography, the camera setup will use Huawei XD Fusion Engine for pictures to enhance its performance. Also, one of the lenses supports 30x zoom. And the smartphone will bring a 32 megapixel front camera. Apart from this, the Huawei P40 will have a fast charging 3,800 mAh battery and house a Kirin 990 chipset with 5G support.
On the other hand, the Huawei P40 Pro showcases a 6.58 inch display with curved edges on every side. It comes with a 4,200 mAh battery, with support for 40W wired charging. The chipset underneath the display will be the Kirin 990. In terms of the camera, the phone will consist of a quad camera setup that includes a 50 megapixel primary lens, 40 megapixel secondary lens, 12 megapixel macro lens and a fourth ToF sensor.
The only thing new in Huawei’s P40 Pro Premium compared to P40 Pro is the 120Hz refresh rate on the screen, 12GB of RAM and dual telephoto cameras offering up to 10x optical zoom.
Based on Android 10, all the Huawei P40 series smartphones will have dual Nano SIMS. With 6GB and 8GB RAM and 128GB internal storage, the device’s storage can be extended up to 512GB. For security, the phone will have sensors like face unlock and fingerprint sensor. It is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 865. The smartphone series will be on the premium end.
