Facebook, Instagram and WhatsApp, faced nine hours of glitch, yesterday. Facebook informed the users through a tweet (read the irony), that all the apps are now working fine and WhatsApp and Instagram are up for use.

Millions of users globally faced the issue in downloading images over the three social media platforms owned by Facebook. The glitch was reported yesterday around 6 pm IST.

Facebook acknowledged the issue and noted, ‘We’re aware that some people are having trouble uploading or sending images, videos and other files on our apps. We’re sorry for the trouble and are working to get things back to normal as quickly as possible.’

Soon Twitter got flooded with the tweets of outraged users, including B-Town Celeb Shruti Haasan, claiming Twitter to be the King of Social Media.

‘WhatsApp Instagram and Facebook are down – a strange sense of panic and relief what if they just went away?? That would suck big time and kind of not suck at all!’, Shruti wrote.

Earlier in April 2019, Facebook, Instagram and WhatsApp were down globally. Facebook has blamed the server configuration change for the glitch. However, there is no official statement made by them explaining the issue that occurred.
