After sharing the wonderful chemistry with each other in 2014’s film, Hasee Toh Phasee, Sidharth Malhotra and Parineeti Chopra are back to set the screens on fire. The actors will be seen in Prashant Singh’s comedy-drama film Jabariya Jodi. After the announcement of the film, fans have been quite curious to see the duo together, and today the filmmakers have finally unveiled the trailer of the film.
Set in Bihar, the trailer portrays the love story of, Siddharth Malhotra, as Abhay and, Parineeti Chopra, as Babli. The story is all about Pakadwa Shaadi, where grooms are abducted by the bride’s family to evade paying dowry. Siddharth is seen running the business of groom kidnapping but soon the story takes a twist when he meets Parineeti Chopra’s character.
The filmmakers launched the trailer of the film yesterday and today it has been released on the internet. Siddharth took to his Instagram handle to share the news with his fans. He posted the trailer with a caption, saying, ‘Jabariya Jodi Official Trailer Bachelors soch lo, trailer dekh lo warna shaadi aur shraadh, hum dono karvaate hai #JabariyaJodiTrailer Out Now!’. The filmmakers too shared the trailer saying, ‘Beware bachelors! You can be their next shikaar. Aagayi hai Jabariya Jodi! #JabariyaJodiTrailer out now!’
The Kill Dil girl, Parineeti Chopra, also shared her excitement by posting one of her pictures on Instagram, from the sets of the film, where she is seen rocking the black outfit with a colourful look. She captioned the picture saying, ‘Its timeeeeee #JabariyaJodi’.
The three-minute film trailer promises to take you on a mad ride full of laughter, love and drama. Produced by Ekta Kapoor, Shobha Kapoor and Shailesh R. Singh, the film is all set to hit the cinemas this year.
