It’s been a year and we still haven’t gotten over the hangover of Peter Kavinsky from ‘To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before.’ The movie had garnered a massive fanbase and Noah Centineo takes away most of its credits.
The Clavin Klein model is back after another Netflix hit, ‘Sierra Burgess Is A Loser’, opposite Shannon Purser. The trailer of his new movie, ‘The Perfect Date’, has just dropped and our jaws too dropped to the grounds watching our handsome boy on screen all again. Only, this time he is sharing the screen with ‘Riverdale’ royalty Camila Mendes and Disney Channel alumna Laura Marano.
Noah is playing Brooks Rattigan, a smart high-schooler who, in his own words has ‘always wanted to date the most popular girl, drive the nicest car and go to the fanciest school.’ But since the poor chap can’t afford his dreams of Ivy League school, he creates an app so the rich kids can pay him to pretend to be their boyfriend. Well, who wouldn’t want to show off Noah as their boyfriend right?
‘The Perfect Date’ explores more than just finding love in unexpected places as Brooks is also obsessed with status, and is kind of a social climber. We are eagerly waiting for Netflix to release the film on April 12th so we can find out for ourselves. Susan Johnson, the director of ‘To All the Boys’, hadonce referred to him as the Tom Hanks of the generation, now that is some praise we would say. And we surely do drool over our new-age rom-com teen hero.

And what’s best? Even Netflix doesn’t want to let this heartthrob leave yet. Yes! ‘To All The Boys’ has already started with it’s shoot for the sequel with Noah Centineo and Lana Condor. He is also set to appear in the Charlie’s Angels reboot, and is also rumoured to be playing He-Man in an upcoming Masters of the Universe film. Till then, dear god save all the girls out there.
