Mumbai, October 2026: Bandra has no shortage of good food places and is about to get a new contender for Persian grills. House of Koobideh, famous for its delicious kebabs in Bangalore and Mangalore, is coming to Mumbai with its new outpost near Daily Bar on SV Road, Bandra. A spicy menu grilled over fire with perfect skewing, get ready to dig into the juicest flavours of the Koobideh Kebab, Turkish-style Adana Rolls and some crispy, gooey Kunafa.

Koobideh comes from the Persian word “to pound.” The makers of Bandstand Pantry, Nostalgia and Maraheb Sinan Kader are leading this brand alongside Anas Abdul Rehman and Asad Shacoor. Leading the kitchen prep is Chef Rizwan Warsi, with masterful meat kneading, charcoal grills and making dishes full of flavour. So expect traditional Persian flavours to ooze in all kebabs, Adana rolls, biryanis to butter chicken.

The menu moves between borders, bringing the best of Persia and keeping the regional flavours of India. Adana rolls (a Turkish speciality with minced lamb), Koobideh kebabs, Mozzarella Adana Kebab, and the Kutchi Memon Mutton Biryani, a rich, slow-cooked ode from the Memon kitchens, are a must-try. If you’re in for familiar tastes, there’s Butter Chicken, and fresh Persian Naan to pair it with. A delicious scoop of gravy with naan, to keep you finger-licking. And an elaborate meaty feast is incomplete without some sweet ending. So you can wrap your final order with authentic buttery Kunafa.

To add to the theme of the Persian dining experience, the ground level has a Majlis seating, where you can sit comfortably on carpets and low-seat sofas. Sit together with your family/friends and enjoy communal dining like you’d in a traditional Persian restaurant.

Bandra is also a neighbourhood where the city’s most recognisable faces come out to dine. House of Koobideh is expected to become a new favourite for Mumbai’s celebrity circle, with friends of Sinan – Ranbir Kapoor, KL Rahul, Arjun Kapoor, Varun Dhawan, Aryan Khan and more coming in from Bollywood and the cricketing world.

Talking about the launch, the founder Sinan Kader says, “People of the city love kebabs, biryani as their late-night feasts. House of Koobideh brings those favourites together in Bandra, with premium flavours and everything from our charcoal-grilled kebabs to a regional-style biryani. Come with company, come hungry, and you’ll leave full.”

For lovers of meat and grills who love exploring Persian and Turkish flavours, House of Koobideh deserves your visit.
