As Mumbai settles into the monsoon season, MOKAI introduces a new menu of comforting food and seasonal beverages designed for rainy-day indulgence. From handcrafted hot chocolates and specialty coffee experiences to hearty sandwiches, warming bowls and nostalgic desserts, the menu brings together familiar flavours with MOKAI’s signature approach to modern café dining.

Leading the new beverage menu is MOKAI’s Hot Chocolate Collection, featuring six handcrafted variations ranging from a smooth 38% cacao to an intensely rich 85% cacao, each designed to suit a different palate. Matcha lovers can savour the Dirty Matcha Latte, where earthy ceremonial matcha meets bold espresso beneath a velvety matcha espuma, while the refreshing Espresso Cloud pairs espresso with delicately jasmine-infused coconut water for an unexpectedly light and aromatic cup. The indulgent Sicilian Pistachio Honey Butter Latte combines roasted pistachios with floral honey and buttery richness, while classics such as the Caramel Iced Latte and the Hot Chocolate Affogato offer comforting favourites with MOKAI’s signature touch. Adding a playful twist is the 55% Hot Mocha, served alongside soft, chewy chocolate mochi, while the Iced Yakult Matcha with Cold Foam delivers a refreshing balance of creamy, tangy and earthy flavours.

Coffee enthusiasts can also experience MOKAI’s Column Pour-Over, brewed using the Mano coffee machine, the first of its kind to arrive in India. Designed to bring out remarkable clarity, sweetness and complexity in every cup, it offers a refined brewing experience that celebrates the craft of specialty coffee.

Complementing the beverages is a menu built around wholesome ingredients and comforting flavours. The Watermelon & Arugula Salad brings together juicy watermelon, peppery arugula and a bright ponzu dressing for a refreshing start, while the Chicken Dan Dan Mian offers silky noodles coated in a deeply savoury, mildly spicy sauce that’s perfect for rainy-day cravings. Inspired by a nostalgic favourite, the MOKAI Style Fish O Filet layers crispy fish with tobiko tartar sauce inside pillowy Hokkaido milk buns for a comforting yet elevated bite.

For those looking to warm up, the Sweet Potato & Pumpkin Soup is paired with a decadent Four Cheese Sando, finished with fermented honey that lends a delicate sweetness to every bite. Spice lovers can turn to the fiery Bird’s Eye Chilli Wontons, while the Peanut Satay Grilled Chicken Sando delivers smoky grilled chicken layered with creamy peanut satay for a satisfying meal. The Scallion Grilled Chicken & Brie Wrap, also available in a keto-friendly option, combines tender grilled chicken with creamy brie and fragrant scallions, while the Popeye Scrambled Breakfast Wrap makes for a wholesome all-day favourite filled with fluffy scrambled eggs and nourishing greens.

The menu also introduces the Shoyu Hummus, where creamy hummus and cream cheese are elevated with a subtle spice kick and served alongside crisp 48-hour fermented sourdough crackers. Ending on a sweet note are two indulgent desserts: the Caramelised Onion Sebastian Cheesecake, offering a delicate balance of sweet and savoury flavours, and the nostalgic Milo French Toast, bringing together golden toast, chocolatey malt and comforting sweetness in every bite.

Whether you’re looking to escape the rain with a cup of specialty coffee, discover India’s first Mano pour-over experience or gather over comforting seasonal dishes, MOKAI’s new monsoon menu offers the perfect excuse to linger a little longer this season.
