After doing the sterling moneyed performances in Satyameva Jayate and Parmanu, John Abraham is back to serve with another patriotic movie, Romeo Akbar Walter. The makers recently have finally unveiled the trailer of the movie, and by the looks of it, RAW is stacked with action sequences, dramatic moments, and patriotic fervour. This film is a lot like Alia Bhatt’s Raazi. Directed by Robbie Grewal, this film is all set to hit the theatre on April 5. Watch out the trailer below.
This espionage thriller is all set before the events of the India-Pakistan War of 1971. Based on true events, this film shows the journey of John Abraham who turns as an undercover spy for the country’s intelligence agency, RAW. As in the trailer, we saw John Abraham lies to his mother about being posted to another city in relation to a bank job. But actually, he is being sent to Pakistan, on an undercover mission, to gather tactical information about the enemy side. John Abraham’s journey in Pakistan is difficult and full of challenges as his identity as an Indian Secret Agent will be put to test, and John has to be very alert and careful in order to save himself and the country from being exposed.

John Abraham will be seen in three completely different avatars of Romeo, Akbar and Walter. Television star Mouni Roy, who had last year made her Bollywood debut with Akshay Kumar starrer Gold, is also seen in the promo. Apart from John Abraham and Mouni Roy, the film also features Jackie Shroff, Sikander Kher and Suchitra Krishnamoorthi.
