Bayern Munich’s striker Robert Lewandowski has created history and has become Champions League’s top scorer. He scored four goals in fourteen minutes, in the second half of the game against Crvena Zvezda, popularly known as Red Star Belgrade.
Scoring six goals as a team, Bayern has secured top spot in the Champions League group B with a match to spare.
Lewandowski’s crazy goal haul began when the referee awarded a penalty on 53 minutes for a handball by Red Star Belgrade centre-back Milos Degenek. It was the fastest four goal haul in the competition’s history and makes Lewandowski the top scorer in Europe this season with ten goals in five games.
Leon Goretzka and Corentin Tolisso also got on the scorecard but the night clearly belonged to FC Bayern Munich’s player!
Taking to Instagram, Robert couldn’t contain his happiness and wrote a cheeky caption, which reads, “I have to confess….I am addicted to scoring goals 😁😎⚽⚽⚽⚽”.
